Please join us for the free 2023 Employers Council and Paylocity Training Series! This six-part series will begin at 10:00am MT on February 21. In each 30-minute session, Employers Council will be covering best practices and important topics for all HR and Payroll staff including ACA Reporting, Form W4, Terminations, and other pertinent HR/Payroll Topics. Paylocity will demonstrate how they can support you and your team in this rapidly changing work environment organizations are facing in 2023.

Dates, Topics, and Descriptions:

• 2/21/2023 ACA reporting

  The affordable care act was designed to encourage employers to provide timely and affordable benefits to eligible employees. Although this sounds basic in principal, it’s only the tip of the iceberg. In this session, Employers Council will discuss best practices around ACA including what benefits need to be provided and when while Paylocity shows how to track and report this information to stay complaint with the ACA.
  
  

• 4/18/23 Terminations and Final Pay

  Whether an employee leaving is their choice or the organization’s choice, terminations are never a process HR looks forward to. Join us as Employers Council reviews best practices for terminations as well as discussing final pay compliance. • 6/20/23 A W-4 Overview

  In this session, Employers Council will walk through important information regarding W4’s including an overview of each box on the W4. Paylocity will show how easy it is for your employees to update and view their W4 as well as manage W4’s as Managers and Supervisors to prepare for year end and other important timelines throughout the year.
  
       
  
  

• 8/22/23 Performance Management

  Effective performance management is essential to business. Through both formal and informal processes, it helps align employees, resources, and systems to meet strategic goals. During this session, Employers Council will discuss ideas for improving your teams’ current performance management as Paylocity demonstrates their workflows and modules that allow for effective Performance Management.
  
       
  
  

• 10/24/23 Onboarding vs. Orientation

  Anytime you hire a new employee, it’s crucial to ensure they feel welcomed by the company. This can be achieved through smart employee onboarding and orientation strategies, but what’s the difference between the two? Employers Council will review the differences between onboarding and orientation while Paylocity demonstrates how to efficiently use their system for both.

• 12/12/22 EEO Reporting

  In our final session of the year, Employers Council will review compliance around EEO and why it’s important to ensure your company is compliant from the beginning of every interaction with a prospective employee through terminations. Paylocity will demonstrate how their system not only keeps you compliant with EEO, but additional resources that will allow you take a second look at your company and resources and make any necessary changes to stay compliant with EEO.
